Rijnmond Power Holding B.V. returns the power plant Rijnmond to active operation

Rijnmond Power Holding B.V., the owner of the Rijnmond power station (Rijnmond), intends to return the plant to active operations. Rijnmond is a 790 MW (net) natural gas fired combined cycle power plant located in the port of Rotterdam. Rijnmond is currently in a mothball status and recommissioning work is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2017. The current estimate for the plant’s return to service is late second quarter of 2017. The actual in-service date is subject to change.
